Location Conditions -

Selecting the right settings - What settings work best for different the styles of photography you maybe shooting.

ISO - International Organization for Standardization and how it relates to basic outdoor photography.

Use of Aperture/F Stops and Depth of Field - How different Aperture's affect your photograph and how to utilize the F-Stops to produce better and more artistic photographs. What is the depth of field and how it affects you photography?

Composition – Angles, lines, rule of 3rds and subject perspective.

Bringing it all together - We will take an hour to go to a local location to put your new found knowledge to work. Reassemble to go over the work and answer any question.

Who should take this course? Anyone interested in photography, who have not had any structured photography training.

Why should I take this course rather than taking a college course?  You will get individual time with our instructors in each class. We guarantee this by limiting our class sizes.

Why should I take this workshop when I can fix most of the problems I have with Photoshop or some other image manipulation software? The main reason that most people have Photoshop is to fix mistakes that could have been prevented in the taking of the image. Rather than spending time fixing preventable mistakes you can have the image come out of the camera the way you intended them. This way you can spend your time adding your borders or posting them to your Myspace. The workshop will help you to understand why images are blurry, too dark or too light.

What would I learn in this course?
